Covers all nine coatings: Scorpion Stinger (AlTiN), Python Scales (TiCN), King Cobra (TiN), Murder Hornet (ZrN), Rhino Hide (CrN), Hercules Beetle (TiCN-based bronze), Black Voodoo (DLC), Black Widow (Cr-DLC) and Black Mamba (Ti-DLC), plus laser etching done with our coating service. Issued November 2, 2026, signed by Mike MacArthur, President, valid for one year.

Coating Safety & Technical Data Sheet
SDS-format information for all nine coatings as applied: composition with CAS numbers, handling, exposure limits for grinding, regulatory summary. A coated part is an article, so an OSHA SDS is not required; this sheet answers the same questions.
EU RoHS Declaration — 10 Substances
Directive 2011/65/EU as amended by (EU) 2015/863. None of the 10 restricted substances above its limit; chromium in CrN and Cr-DLC is never hexavalent.
EU REACH SVHC Declaration
Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Article 33. No Candidate List substance in any coating, so nothing is added to your article’s SVHC or SCIP duties.
California Proposition 65 Declaration
No Proposition 65 listed chemical in the coatings or laser marking. Covers the coating only; your part’s base material may need its own warning.
PFAS Declaration
No PFAS under the broadest definition (any fully fluorinated carbon), in the coating, the laser etching, or any processing step. No fluorinated gases or targets.
Your part is covered separately
These documents cover the coating and the laser marking, not the base material of your part. Cemented carbide contains cobalt, and many steels contain nickel or chromium, which can need their own declarations or a Prop 65 warning. For RobbJack carbide cutting tools, see robbjack.com/compliance.
