Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits. This information is used to operate, secure, and improve the site.

AI chat assistant. If you use the chat assistant on our website, the messages you type are transmitted to our third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response. Please do not enter confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information into the chat — use our quote form or contact us directly for anything sensitive.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your inquiries and prepare quotations;
• Provide, schedule, and perform coating services;
• Communicate with you about your orders, parts, and requests;

Service providers. We use trusted third-party providers to operate our website and process information on our behalf, including Netlify (website hosting and quote/contact form processing), Anthropic (the AI provider that powers our chat assistant), Plausible (privacy-friendly website analytics), and Microsoft (Clarity — site-usage analytics, heatmaps, and session replay). We also embed a map from Google (Google Maps) on our Contact page (see "Cookies and Tracking"). These providers are expected to protect information and use it only to provide their services to us.

Within our company. Information may be shared within Crystallume PVD and RobbJack Corporation as needed to provide services and respond to you.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.

Business transfers. If our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses minimal tracking and no advertising cookies. One feature is loaded from a third-party service that may receive your IP address and set its own cookies when it loads: an embedded Google Map on our Contact page. (Our web fonts are hosted on our own servers, so no font data is shared with Google.) Our hosting provider (Netlify) may use cookies or similar technologies necessary to operate and secure the site. For analytics, we use Plausible (privacy-friendly — no cookies and no personal data) and Microsoft Clarity, which uses cookies and may capture anonymized heatmaps and session replays to help us improve usability (see Microsoft's Privacy Statement). Data Retention

We retain quote requests, order information, and related communications for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain business records, and comply with legal, tax, and accounting requirements. We may retain certain information longer where required by law.

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
