Overview

What is Rhino Hide?

Rhino Hide is chromium nitride (CrN). Tougher and more ductile than titanium-based coatings, harder than chrome plating, with exceptional corrosion resistance and higher oxidation resistance than TiN or TiCN. Its excellent hot hardness suits hot forging, and it can be applied thick for heavy wear and corrosion duty.

Best for: Corrosion resistance, hot hardness, and thick-film wear protection.
