What is Black Mamba?
Black Mamba is a titanium-doped DLC (Ti-DLC) engineered for cutting tools. Its very low friction speeds chip evacuation and resists built-up edge, extending edge life when machining aluminum, copper, graphite, and other non-ferrous or abrasive materials where conventional coatings clog or gall.
Best for: DLC tuned for cutting tools and non-ferrous machining.
Key properties
- Titanium-doped DLC (Ti-DLC)
- Low friction speeds chip evacuation
- Resists built-up edge
- Extends edge life on non-ferrous & abrasive work
- High hardness (~2,000 HV)
